Misc. Notes |
David was a farmer. David moved from Nova Scotia to Ohio in 1822. The trip took two months. David settled in Miami County and purchased land acquired by President Monroe. Mary Ann Schlaman, daughter of Abraham Diffenbaugh, nursed her Grandfather, David Estey through his last sickness on a farm across the road from Jothan Estey, his son. The farm lays west of Lost Creek Baptist Cometary. The Bible from which most of this was taken was purchased by David in 1829. This Bible was last in possession of John Estey, son of James Estey. |
