James Malcolm was always known as Malcolm or Mac to his family and James or Jim to his peers. Mac was a teacher for more than thirty years. He was also a Minister and received an appointment as a missionary to Africa from the Pentecostal Church of God. Mac was a carpenter, he built a house in Washington state and remodeled many others. He was a writer, being a ghost writer for two books and was in the process of writing another at the time of his death. He also wrote songs and many poems. He published a magazine, “Homeward Bound”, containing his and others poems. Mac also painted water colors and taught ceramics classes at San Jose State College. |
